Twitter Boosts Search Results Page For Cashtags

Posted by

Twitter is upgrading the user experience for cashtags, revealing rates graphs when users click on the symbol of a major stock, ETF, or cryptocurrency.

Including a dollar check in front of a stock or currency sign, like $AAPL, produces a clickable cashtag.

Previously, clicking on a cashtag would take you to a standard set of search engine result including popular tweets.

If you wished to learn the present worth of the stock or currency, you needed to check out another website to get the information.

Now, you can get the details you’re searching for right away with updated search results page for cashtags.

In addition to clicking cashtags, you can activate the new search experience by looking for the symbols with or without the dollar sign.

Twitter says it’s rolling out this feature with the significant signs first, and will expand its protection of signs in the coming weeks.
